Sometimes, when reading various articles about seemingly unrelated subject matters, questions come to mind about relationships between them that aren’t overtly apparent when only reading one or the other. For example, let’s think about this article from The Hill titled “Arbitration between auto-dealers and makers on fast track” and this article from WorldNetDaily titled “Closed Chrysler dealers to drive Obama’s eligibility — Seeking damages for lost businesses, will question administration’s ‘authority’.”

I read these articles at different times and the Hill article provoked the question: Is this article related to the other one?

When placed on the scale of decision making, there is at least enough merit to ask that question, along with some others. How can this be so important as to deal with it right in the middle of the oh-so-important health care debate? OK, sure, one could say that this is actually taking place in the House and the health care debate is playing out in the Senate, but fast tracking it in the House presents the notion that the other Chamber may do likewise. Why the immediacy? Where does the importance rest?

Hasn’t Obama himself said that our courts can withstand the strain of complicated cases? After all, he is bringing KSM to New York for trial, right? Why does he work so hard to keep the court from hearing cases and making a finding on the merits when he would do something like that? Granted, there is a difference between civil and criminal court, but is there some “do as I say, not as I do’ going on here?

It is noteworthy that, rather than show up himself to any hearing pertaining to any of the numerous court actions, which question his eligibility/authority, with a twelve dollar document and his permission to release other vital records of his life, Obama has sent in teams of lawyers costing well over a million dollars. All attempts thus far have been dismissed and the vast majority of them were dismissed because of something called “standing”. So far, no court has ever heard a case about this subject matter on it’s own merits. Many people are misled by those dismissals, as if that means there is no merit to the complaints. Understanding the actual reasons for the dismissals is necessary to understand that the merits have not even been heard, much less decided.

There are legitimate questions about Obama’s life that must be answered. I often hear about how “historical” this Presidency is. How is it that folks who will say that can justify refusing to see and admit that much of the “historical” record is intentionally hidden from view? Does not the recording of history itself demand accuracy? Do we not owe it to our posterity to complete that record accurately and preserve it’s truthfulness for future generations to study and learn from? Why wouldn’t Obama himself want to see to it that the record of his life is accurately recorded to the entire extent he could?

If someone questioned you about your place and circumstances of birth, better yet if they accused you of not being born where you said you were, wouldn’t you just produce the documents that you, and others, have said exist to squash such an accusation? Wouldn’t you certainly spend 12 dollars before you spent over a million? What would possibly make you decide to spend over a million? What would possibly explain Obama’s outright refusal to simply present honest answers to legitimate questions? Spite? Wow.

I don’t know about you folks, but I take tremendous pride in the fact that I am a Natural Born Citizen of the State of Wisconsin and currently a Resident Citizen of Illinois within these united States. I would be more than willing to show any amount of proof to anyone who would claim otherwise, so that they would be shown how wrong they are. Why won’t Obama do so? Why would he not want to resolve a point of contention and division among the people he claims to represent, when he could so easily do so? Is the President intentionally promoting division in this country in favor of promoting unity? Is this just political gamesmanship? Is he using division as a distraction?

It is a fact that Obama himself keeps records away from the public eye. So much for the “Touchstone of Transparency”. On that note, I say the same thing Joe Wilson said. Mr. President, “YOU LIE”.

Why is it that no member of the mainstream media will just ask him straightforwardly while he is front of the cameras?

“Mr. President, it is a fact that numerous documents pertaining to your life remain hidden away from the people you claim to represent. It is also a fact that you alone hold the power to see them released to the American people. Why do you refuse to allow the people of this country to see those records? Why won’t you just proudly present them to the people of this Nation for their review?”

Back to the two articles that began this writing, one could easily come to the conclusion, upon reading them in conjunction, that it looks like the “standing” hurdle might be jumped and that there is an attempt to legislatively nullify the need for the case to be heard in court to avoid that happening. If that hurdle is jumped successfully, then Obama would actually have to answer with substance because discovery would follow a finding of standing. Could it be that the Democrat controlled House is trying to create cover so the party’s President can avoid answering germane questions? Has the corruption become that blatant?

Think that is a leap beyond possibility? Well, we should remember that a soldier pressed this issue and, it being a wee bit difficult to tell a soldier that they don’t have standing, his deployment orders were revoked. No deployment meant no tangible damage could be shown. No deployment orders, no standing, no case. Dismissed. I say this to point out that there is a pattern developing pointing to decisions being made in such a way as to ensure that hidden records stay hidden. When hiding truth becomes the decision maker, Evil prospers.

We deserve better from a President. We deserve better from a media that is too timid to even ask, much less ferret out the answers. We deserve better from each other. We owe it to those who came before us and also to those who will come after us to see that the “historical” record is preserved.
