We have all become accustomed to hearing parts of Osama bin Laden’s musings from time to time. We are told that airing his audio and video tapes is dangerous because there may be hidden signals within them. This is reasonable on it’s face but what if there is something deeper being protected by disallowing the people of this country the opportunity to see and hear these productions in their entirety?
Over and over we hear that we don’t know who the enemy is. We supposedly cannot win this war because we cannot know who it is we are supposed to be fighting. The ugliness that took place on 9-11 was stricken from the airwaves. Just days ago, only mentioned in passing in the mainstream media, Osama bin Laden has really taken it to a new level. Why wouldn’t this get some major reporting?
Here is the simple answer. Yet again, Osama bin Laden is making the same pitch that the Socialist/Communist/Liberal Left makes. Yup, Global Warming and how America should pay for it.
Bin Laden calls on the world to “Blame Bush”, refuse the American dollar and shun American-made goods.

He even goes so far to cite Noam Chomsky, who just so happens to be a hero of the Liberal Left.
If you have ever wondered why the mainstream media skews their news reporting, this is the best example of why they do it. They fear the political liberal left in this country being exposed as making the same arguments as outright, self-professed terrorists.
Remember when that happened to John Kerry right before the 2004 election? Well, it just happened to Obama.
Today’s mainstream media doesn’t want to shine light on who the enemy is, simply out of fear that those who they so obviously support might be shown to be a part of that group.
Are these harsh words with a harsh message? Yes they are. Are they true? You Bet! Thank goodness we have the First Amendment and a New Media full of bloggers willing and able to call a spade a spade.
