The 9/12 Project is designed to bring us all back to the place we were on September 12, 2001. The day after America was attacked we were not obsessed with notions about Red States, Blue States or political parties. We were united as Americans, standing together to protect the greatest nation ever created. That same feeling — that commitment to country — is what we are hoping to foster within this group. We want to encourage again the mindset that was present on September 12th, 2001.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Do you watch the direction that America is being taken in and feel powerless to stop it?
  • Do you believe that your voice isn’t loud enough to be heard above the noise anymore?
  • Do you read the headlines everyday and feel an empty pit in your stomach…as if you’re completely alone?

If you’ve answered YES to any of these questions, then consider yourself not alone.  Don’t believe the idea that you — as an individual — cannot make a difference in helping to change the direction in which our country is going.  YOU CAN.

The truth is that “they” don’t surround us at all. WE SURROUND THEM. Our Founding Fathers built this country upon 28 powerful principles. These principles were culled from all over the world and from centuries of great thinkers. The original 28 have been distilled down to the 9 basic principles.

The Central Illinois 9/12 Project Group was created to reach out to all of those who yearn to help this country return to the principles and moral values upon which it was founded. This group is part of a non-partisan, nationwide effort designed to unite Americans in commitment to the 9 Principles and 12 Values that made our nation great.

Our mission is to begin the great work of reaching out to all Americans, regardless of their political party affiliation, to spread the message that America is truly an exceptional nation — and that we can and will work together to make and keep this country great. The way that we work to achieve this long-term goal is to focus on educating ourselves and others about the Principles and Values that have set America apart, as well as speaking together as one voice when our liberties are put in jeopardy. If you agree with at least 7 out of the 9 Principles, please consider joining with us in these efforts!
